Your strict adherence to these house rules is critical for your safety and well-being as well as for those who live in the neighborhood. You will be notified of any violations during your stay. Continued failure to respect the house rules may lead to fines/penalties, or in extreme cases, removal of your group from the premises.
NO SMOKING: Absolutely no smoking of any kind is allowed in the house (including vaping, eCig, etc...). If you must, please smoke outside, away from the house. If indoor smoking is detected, an additional cleaning fee may be assessed.
NO EVENTS: We do not allow weddings, parties, graduations, receptions, large gatherings or any similar kind of event. The maximum number of guests allowed in the home or on the property at ANY time is limited to the number of guests on your booking reservation. We do not allow unregistered guests as visitors to the property.
NO PETS: We do not allow pets of any kind inside OR outside the home.
QUIET HOURS: Limit noise outdoors to a reasonable level during the day, and at night, please honor the neighborhood quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. This policy is strictly enforced. You will only be warned once before additional measures are taken. Also note that noise travels easily over and around the water so please be mindful of this as you are enjoying your time outside.
Be very mindful of noise even when indoors, if windows are open. Again, noise can travel far and wide near water.
Be respectful of the property belonging to the neighboring homes, especially those directly to the north and south sides of the house. As there is no fencing or barrier in place, please stay on Beach House property at all times. Pay attention to signage indicating where these boundaries are.
Vehicles should be parked ONLY on Beach House property. Do not use neighbors' driveways for turnaround or repositioning of vehicles.
Please use caution and drive slowly when using the access road between the Beach House and the main road (Chico Way). There are small children and pets in the neighborhood. This road is considered Beach House property, so all house rules apply there as well.
Do not pour grease (such as from bacon or other meats) down the kitchen sink. Even though the house is connected to the sewer system, animal fat can still damage pumping equipment and lead to sewer backups which will bring your stay to an unfortunate end. Instead, please pour that into a garbage bag or soak up with paper towels.
Please do not flush anything but tissues and toilet paper down the toilets. There are trash cans throughout the home. Please use them.
The house has several gas appliances such as the stove and barbecue grill. Please pay close attention to ensure you turn off any of these appliances when not in use.
