Director’s Note
The Chickasaw Event Center continues to be "a place for everyone to gather, to learn, to grow, and just enjoy life". We are excited to share a busy February schedule filled with community gatherings and opportunities to give back. We are also seeking volunteers for kitchen help, serving, and cleaning—even just an hour or two makes a difference!

Upcoming Events at the Center

• Tasty Tuesdays: Every Tuesday in February (Feb 3, 10, 17, 24).

  • Time: Dine-in at 12:00 PM; Carry-out at 12:15 PM.

  • RSVP: Required by the preceding Friday at 12:00 PM by calling 641-394-3173.

  • Cost: Minimum $10 donation; profits support center improvements.

• Free Donut Day & Blood Pressure Screening: Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM.

  • Enjoy a free donut and social hour, sponsored by New Hampton Nursing and Rehab.

• Souper Sunday hosted by our Local Rotary Club was a huge success! Rotary’s speaker was a past community member, New Hampton High School Principal, Mrs. Sarah Updegraff-Murray presenting “hope is a strategy”. 

2026 Travel Adventures

Join us for these upcoming stress-free bus trips departing from New Hampton. Seating is limited!

• San Antonio: February 28 – March 8, 2026. - we have a full bus, but can still add you to our waiting list! 

• Mount Rushmore: June 21 – 27, 2026.

• Biltmore Estates: September 27 – October 2, 2026.
