WHO ARE WE?
The Chickasaw County Council On Aging, Inc. is the non-profit that operates the Chickasaw Event Center.
The non-profit corporation was first registered with the Iowa Secretary of State in 1976. Its mission is “A place for everyone to gather, to learn, to grow and just enjoy life.”
In 2002, a new building was erected and is located at 301 North Water Avenue, New Hampton, Iowa.
The Chickasaw Event Center provides opportunities to the community such as: home delivered meals, hunger assistance, rentals, bus trips, classes, card games, coffee, and a place to socialize and feel a sense of belonging.
The Chickasaw Event Center operating budget has expenditures and revenue generated from the daily business functions, benefactors, as well as city and county support.

We are keeping Edna Reick's dreams alive... one day at a time!
Edna wanted to create a beautiful place where community members could gather to enjoy each others' company, a place where health and happiness meet.
She raised money to make The Chickasaw Event Center what it is today. Edna also enabled the ride program known as The Chickasaw Chassis to safely get residents of New Hampton to their destinations.
Please help us keep Edna's dreams alive through the use of our amazing facility and donations.
