The Designated Terrorist Organizations (DTO) dataset is a comprehensive database that contains terrorist designation lists by 148 countries until 2019. The dataset includes 504 terrorist organizations; 276 groups are designated by at least one government and/or International Governmental Organization (IGO) and 228 groups are never designated.
The DTO is based on a collaborative project with Professor Yasutaka Tominaga at Hosei University, Japan. You can access the database here.Â
