V1.4 (2022 April 15)
Luckily Google accepted the second appeal to their decision, so we can continue with two separate apps, one specifically for the Chevy Bolt and one specific for the Opel Ampera E. So we are back to the v1.2 version i.e. no changes compared to v1.2.
V1.3 (2022 April 14)
Due to the Google's "Repetitive Content Policy", the Chevy Bolt app and the Opel Ampera E app were not allowed to be in the Play Store as two separate apps. So from this version on, both cars are handled in the same App: "CARCOM".
This version has no functional changes compared to the previous Chevy Bolt/Opel Ampera E apps version 1.2.
V1.2 (2022 April 7)
Mainly bug fix release related to remote monitoring.
New user functionality:
In the summary remote monitoring screen, the position of both device A and device B are shown. This should e.g. make it easier to find back your car when parked somewhere.
V1.1 (2022 March 29)
Summary:
V1.1 includes a major update of the remote monitoring functionality, bringing all local monitoring car reporting screens to remote monitoring.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do upgrade both device A and device B to this software version, otherwise remote monitoring will NOT WORK.
Local monitoring related updates:
Improved bluetooth connection management: the App will from now on continuously try to establish the connection to a selected BT device until it succeeds. Thus it should no longer be required for the user to go back to the start menu and select a device again when BT connection establishment has failed.
Remote monitoring related updates:
All local car reporting screens are now also available for remote monitoring. The only difference with local monitoring is the update frequency.
Communication has changed changed from HTTP to TCP. This will enable faster contact and more frequent updates when performing remote monitoring.
In addition, no data storage is present on the server any longer. I.e. any required data storage (location, SOC, Battery capacity) is performed in device A only.
V0.9 (2022 March 11)
Optimised reporting frequency if client is running and valid SOC is provided by the car
Remote Monitoring: aging information under sync On/Off
Correction on counting BT errors for remote reporting
Add warning about "power optimisation" being turned off
V0.8 (2022 March 2)
Introduction of Remote Monitoring (trial)
