The Centralised Analytical Laboratory (CAL)
The Centralised Analytical Laboratory (CAL) is one of the service centres established under Research and Innovation Office (RIO). It was set up to serve the research needs of UTP researchers as well as service requirements by external parties. The overall long-term aspiration is to promote research excellence by ensuring that the requested analytical services comply with international standards and with timely delivery to all customers. CAL is an ISO17025 accredited laboratory with capabilities for mechanical and physical testing of measuring surface area of mesopore (2 nm to 50 nm) using gas adsorption method. Located at the ground floor of Block P.
