Chetan Chawla

Hi! I am Chetan Chawla, an enthusiastic learner and a curious person who loves to explore several things life has to offer the experience for. I am fond of knowing more about the world and working towards solving its problems.

I am currently a Business Technology Solutions Associate Consultant at ZS, working on Data Engineering and Data Analytical workstreams to cater to the complex pharmaceutical landscape in various use cases.

I have also recently been working with Dr. Alex Teachey at Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics, (remotely) as a post-baccalaureate Astrophysics researcher, wherein, we developed an efficient and scalable pipeline to find more exoplanets (planets around stars other than the Sun) in our galaxy, with the use of NASA's TESS space telescope.

As an attribute of my curiosity, my professional and personal trajectory is non-linear, allowing me to gather a multidisciplinary and holistic experience, and helping me to know more about the world. Apart from being a tech (associate) consultant and a proto-astrophycist, I am also a roboticist, open-source community manager (co-leading PyData Delhi), and a pro-bono teacher/mentor. On the other end of the life spectrum, I am a musician, lyricist, artist/designer, and amateur cook.
