TalonSplit is a volunteer-driven and operated sports media and analytics project dedicated to providing expanded coverage of Chestatee High School athletics, with a particular focus on cross country and distance track & field. The project combines race photography, results, performance analysis, athlete and team features, historical data, and original reporting to give athletes, families, coaches, and fans a more complete view of their programs and accomplishments.

TalonSplit is a project that was created to help fill the coverage gap that often exists for sports and athletes that receive limited traditional media attention. Using independently funded equipment and resources, the project provides coverage at no cost to the athletes or school, with the goal of recognizing their hard work, preserving their achievements, and giving their performances the visibility they deserve.
