ChessKids at the Castle

Organized and run by Twin Cities Chess Club in collaboration with the Chess Castle of Minnesota

   

 A fun way for students of all ages to learn and improve their chess level! We will be hosting tournament play and instruction to bring students into the next arena where young chess players can test their skill. ChessKids at the Castle will not only be competitions, but social events as well. Children will meet peers with a similar love for the game.

 

When:  Sunday, May 19th 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Who:        Grades K-12

Fee:           $25 by 5/17, $30 by 5/19 3:30 pm online, $35 at-site

Players grouped by rating/age/experience level. Swiss System, 4 rounds.

Leaders will receive an award.

ChessKids at the Castle May 19th

Format: 4 rounds, (G/25)
Entry fee: $25 by 5/17, $30 by 5/19 3:30 pm online, $35 at site. SIGN UP CLICK HERE!  (Current Registrations)

Rounds: 4:10, 5:00, 6:20, 7:10. (break after rd 2)

Onsite: Club will be open at 3:20 PM. Registration closes at 3:50 PM.

Prizes: Awards to all with trophies for the leaders.

Other: Unrated tournament play and game analysis as time permits.  No USCF needed.
