Art Factory

Mondays, April 22 - May 20
2:15 - 3:15 p.m.

Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced painter, Creative Canvas provides a fun, friendly, laid-back environment where kids can explore their creative side. Students will start with a blank canvas and create artwork that is uniquely their own.

Cost: $75
Grades: K-5

Bricks 4 Kidz

Wednesdays, April 24 - May 22
2:15 - 3:15 p.m.

This theme is all about the fun of doing something with what you’ve built and making your brain work. From a mini fig mover and crazy gears model to spin art and battle tops model, young engineers will love building and playing with their technic brick builds and motorized LEGO® creations! But don't worry...we will sneak in lots of learning too!

Cost: $90
Grades: K-5

Focus Sports: Backyard Games

Tuesdays, April 23 - May 21
2:15 - 3:15 p.m.

Children will play some fun outdoor games. Kickball, capture the flag, and ultimate football to name a few. The goal of this program is to help establish healthy active habits in a fun and entertaining way. We are going to get out, be active and have FUN doing it!

Cost: $75
Grades: 3-5
Max Participants: 18 (min: 6)

Chess RVA

Thursdays,  April 25 - May 23
2:15 - 3:15 p.m.

Students will have fun playing the game of chess while learning to be better players. Playing chess helps kids think more clearly & improves math and reading skills. Classes include both instruction and supervised play.

Cost: $74
Grades: 2-5
Max Participants: 14

Enrichment Program Details

The PTA strives to bring a wide variety of after school enrichment programs to CHES. You can sign your student up for any or all of them!

Grants may be available for families requesting financial assistance in order to participate. Please reach out to Mrs. Bateman, CHES counselor, for more information.
