About the Reflections Program

Designed to enhance rather than replace a quality arts education, the PTA Reflections Program provides opportunities for students to express themselves and to receive positive recognition for their artistic efforts.

This is a state wide PTA Arts program.  Start thinking of what the theme, "Accepting Imperfection" means to you.  

PTA believes all children deserve a quality arts education and encourages students to pursue artistic expression through participation in its annual arts Reflections Program. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students in preschool through grade 12 are encouraged to create and submit works of art in six areas:  dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and the visual arts (which includes art forms such as drawing, painting, print making, and collage). For more than 40 years, the program has encouraged millions of students across the nation and in American schools overseas to create works of art. The Reflections Program was started in 1969 by then Colorado PTA President Mary Lou Anderson.

Student Packet

Includes entry instructions for each art category, official rules, and a printable entry form (online entry form preferred).  Each form must have a signature.  ALL ENTRIES MUST BE DIGITALLY SUBMITTED THIS YEAR!

SUBMISSION:  An online entry form will be sent to all who complete the Entry Google Doc. Submissions are due by November 5, 2024. First place submissions will be sent to the County level program.  You must submit a formal PTA Entry Form as well. Click here to print (scroll to the final 2 pages).
