- Students at Our Mother of Sorrows receive help with reading skills where we work together in a small group, reading fiction and non-fiction passages and books. We also work on writing skills, sometimes writing in response to what we have read.
- Students take a reading comprehension test in September, another in December, and the post-test in May. Students who score a percentage which indicates that intervention isn't necessary will possibly be taken out of the intervention Reading class.
