- I graduated from the University of Arizona in 1970 with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and a Master's degree in Bilingual Education in 1987. Ken Pryor and I got married in 1988.
- Before my Master's in Bilingual Education I took many graduate courses in Reading Instruction and have Arizona certification in the teaching of Reading.
- In 1994, after taking many graduate hours of Library Science classes, I received certification endorsement in librarianship.
