First appears as dark spots on the top side of the leaf.
The spots then turn a dark brown and the underside of the leaf is symmetric with a lighter-brown spot.
The leaf begins to yellow around the spots.
Some spots dry up and fall off the leaf giving it a "shot-hole" appearance.
Eventually the leaf will turn completely yellow and fall off the tree.
