The Purpose of Wards
A ward is a community where Latter-day Saints can develop friendships and support their fellow Church members in their efforts to worship and follow Jesus Christ.

Why Realign The Ward Boundaries?
Boundaries are being adjusted to create wards of more balanced size and to help each ward function more effectively and grow stronger. This allows for greater opportunities for service and leadership, strengthens ward programs, and ensures every member and family can enjoy the blessings of a unified, well-supported ward community.
Consideration for a boundary realignment began in 2023.
Serious discussions and various designs were drawn up in early 2025.
The final map that was submitted was the 6th iteration, after a great deal of study, deliberation, and prayer.
Realignments will happen from time to time as the needs and available resources of each ward evolve.
