Daniel D. is a long-time aviation enthusiast with a deep passion for flight simulation. He began his journey around 2010 with Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX), where he first developed his interest in virtual aviation. Over the years, he expanded his experience by flying in X-Plane 11, later transitioning to Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), and most recently continuing his journey in MSFS 2024.
With over a decade of experience in the flight sim community, Daniel serves as the CEO of Chernair, where he has built a dynamic and versatile virtual airline offering a wide range of operations from bush flying to airline and cargo missions. Outside of aviation, he is a dedicated family man—married with two children—balancing his passion for flight with his personal life.
Nick brings a strong blend of community leadership, virtual airline experience, and real-world management to his role as VP of Operations. He began flying in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, where he quickly developed a passion for aviation and has since logged over 4,000 hours in the sim. Along the way, he gained management experience in two different virtual airlines, giving him a deep understanding of pilot support, organizational structure, and community development.
Outside the virtual skies, Nick lives in Queensland, Australia, where he owns and operates a machine shop. His hands-on leadership style, precision-focused background, and commitment to building positive communities translate directly into how he supports pilots and strengthens the culture at ChernAirVirtual.
Nick’s experience and steady, people-first approach make him a key contributor to maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for all members.
Nathan serves as Chernair's Director of Community Engagement, helping foster the welcoming and family-oriented atmosphere that makes our community special. Based in France, he is currently studying software development at Epitech while pursuing his passion for aviation through Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Whether he's connecting with members, organizing community initiatives, or taking to the virtual skies, Nathan is dedicated to ensuring every pilot feels at home at Chernair.
Mike brings a sense of drive and motivation to every flight, inspiring others to pursue their passion for aviation. He believes that learning is a shared journey and encourages pilots to enjoy each step of the process.
Based in Colorado, Mike’s approachable and supportive style helps fellow pilots feel confident in their potential and fosters a welcoming environment for both new and experienced aviators.
Justin E. serves as Chernair's Director of Humanitarian Operations, overseeing the airline's humanitarian flight campaigns and disaster relief initiatives. Based in Texas, Justin brings a passion for using virtual aviation to support meaningful causes, coordinating missions that transport emergency supplies, medical aid, and relief personnel to communities in need around the world.
A dedicated console pilot who flies exclusively on PlayStation 5, Justin is also a strong advocate for the console flight simulation community. His leadership helps ensure that Chernair's humanitarian events are accessible, engaging, and welcoming to pilots of all experience levels, regardless of platform. Through his commitment to service and teamwork, Justin plays a key role in advancing Chernair's mission of making every flight count.
Craig B. serves as Chernair's Director of Console Operations, representing and supporting the airline's growing community of Xbox and PlayStation pilots. Hailing from Scotland, Craig is dedicated to ensuring console members have a voice within the organization while helping create an enjoyable and inclusive experience for pilots of all skill levels.
Flying exclusively on PlayStation 5, Craig is best known for his passion for heavy aircraft, particularly the C-17 Globemaster III and the Airbus A321LR. His enthusiasm for large aircraft operations and his commitment to the console flight simulation community make him an invaluable leader, helping bridge the gap between console and PC pilots while fostering a welcoming environment for everyone at Chernair.
Steph serves as Chernair's Director of Sports, leading the organization's expanding sports program and helping bring the excitement of competition to the community. Originally from Belgium, Steph oversees the planning, promotion, and coordination of Chernair's sporting events, leagues, and international competitions.
With a passion for teamwork and community engagement, Steph works to create exciting experiences that unite members beyond aviation. Whether organizing tournaments, highlighting athletes, or developing new sporting initiatives, Steph is committed to making Chernair's sports program a vibrant and enjoyable part of the organization for everyone.
