Daniel D. is a long-time aviation enthusiast with a deep passion for flight simulation. He began his journey around 2010 with Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX), where he first developed his interest in virtual aviation. Over the years, he expanded his experience by flying in X-Plane 11, later transitioning to Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), and most recently continuing his journey in MSFS 2024.
With over a decade of experience in the flight sim community, Daniel serves as the CEO of Chernair, where he has built a dynamic and versatile virtual airline offering a wide range of operations from bush flying to airline and cargo missions. Outside of aviation, he is a dedicated family man—married with two children—balancing his passion for flight with his personal life.
Nick brings a strong blend of community leadership, virtual airline experience, and real-world management to his role as VP of Operations. He began flying in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, where he quickly developed a passion for aviation and has since logged over 4,000 hours in the sim. Along the way, he gained management experience in two different virtual airlines, giving him a deep understanding of pilot support, organizational structure, and community development.
Outside the virtual skies, Nick lives in Queensland, Australia, where he owns and operates a machine shop. His hands-on leadership style, precision-focused background, and commitment to building positive communities translate directly into how he supports pilots and strengthens the culture at ChernAirVirtual.
Nick’s experience and steady, people-first approach make him a key contributor to maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for all members.
