…earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, in sure and certain hope of the resurrection to eternal life…
The unbreakable bond we have with our cherished family members and beloved pets do not leave us after they transition to heaven. If your loved one has been cremated, you might be storing the ashes in an urn at home or you may elect to have them scattered across beautiful scenery; some may even choose to have them buried-- but what if you discovered a way to honor them and also share with the remaining family, an artistically unique way to remember them? Cherished Keepsakes wants to help you keep them close by designing a tangible memorial keepsake especially for you to cherish.
Let's create something uniquely beautiful together...
Ashes vary in color and consistency
Unlike other memorials that simply house your cremains in a beautiful container (an urn), the “cremains” are mixed with an artistic medium which solidifies into something similar to a polished stone or acrylic. Be advised that cremains can be light in color; they can be coarse or fine, a little like aquarium gravel or like sand. The artistic medium can make the color of the cremains take on a darker hue sometimes. The color of the final piece also depends on the amount of ash used and whether a dye is included in the mixture (if you prefer a color base) making the color and density completely unique to each piece. No two are the same.
[Cremains is a portmanteau or blending of the words 'cremated remains.' While commonly referred to as “ashes,” technically cremains are not ashes but rather mostly dry calcium phosphates with some various minor minerals such as salts of sodium and potassium, or more simply, bone matter.]
It is our promise that the cremains of your cherished one will always be handled with the utmost respect and care. When making keepsake pieces, typically less than two ounces of ash are required for production. For family collections or larger designs, like desktop globes or prisms, more ash may be needed. Any unused portion of the cremains will be returned to you in a separate container from your keepsake. Many smaller pieces are designed as keepsake pendants and they are delivered on a complimentary ribbon or leather cord, however, should you choose to wear them, you may opt to purchase a chain independently that will compliment your keepsake. You also have several other options like attaching a memorial pendant/bead to a bracelet or key chain, or even set inside a locket or ring.

"Little Hearts" are very special keepsakes created from the cremains of a baby or small child. Even though Heaven and Earth may separate you, they are a part of your eternal family and they are carried deep inside of your heart. A “Little Heart” Keepsake is a beautiful way you can memorialize your angelic baby so that you are able to keep a tangible memory with you forever.
Breastmilk Beads, pendants and rings are another option for mothers who wish to create a keepsake from the breastmilk made during their pregnancy, milk that they will not have the opportunity to give their little angel. These beads are custom made pieces that contain preserved the mother's breast milk inside.
Bless their Little Hearts...
