Bell Ringing

Our current tower was built in 1705, and the bells were made in Welsh Street. The Bell Hanger pub, now Wetherspoons in St Mary St, was the place where the bells were worked and then hoisted into the tower. There are 10 bells, all with their own names.

We share bellringers with other local churches, and currently they ring on the dates shown in the poster.  If you would like to learn, you can join them. Just email us on the chepstowprioryfriends@gmail.com to make arrangements.
