Bio:

I did complete my B. Sc. (Honors) and M. S. (Thesis Group, Inorganic Chemistry Branch) in Chemistry from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh in 2009 (the academic year 2007) and 2011 (the academic year 2008), respectively, and M. Phil. in Chemistry from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2018. I was awarded the Chittagong University Dean’s Scholarship based on my B. Sc. (Honors) result. I am a life member of the Bangladesh Chemical Society (BCS), Network of Instrument Technical Personnel and User Scientists of Bangladesh (NITUB), and a technical assessor of the Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB). My research areas mainly cover Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Machine Learning, Metal-Organic Framework, Water Treatment, Water Quality, Phytochemistry, Phytoremediation, Microplastics, and Waste Management. I jointly supervised more than 30 M. S. thesis students from several Public Universities in Bangladesh. I have participated in many National and International Conferences and presented my research works. I worked on the implementation of the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality management system and was strongly involved in the relevant Research and Development work and analytical services. I am working as a “Senior Scientific Officer (on study leave)” at the Institute of National Analytical Research and Service (INARS), Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. degree at the Department of Chemistry, Howard University, Washington, D.C. 20059, USA.
