Research Interest:
My research interests focus on the synthesis and application of ionic liquids based on carborane anions for the recovery of rare earth metals from coal fly ash. I am particularly interested in the design and synthesis of lanthanide–dicarbolide complexes and their structural and spectroscopic characterization using single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SC-XRD), NMR, and IR spectroscopy. My work integrates inorganic and coordination chemistry with materials science to develop sustainable approaches for rare earth element separation and recycling.
