Associate Professor Chelsea Liu

I am an associate professor at The University of Adelaide Business School in Australia. I previously worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Finance at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington. 

My research in corporate finance focuses on climate finance, sustainability, corporate governance, and corporate misconduct. Qualified as a solicitor and barrister in Australia, I worked in inner-city law firms prior to joining academia.

I have a PhD from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Computer and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania. 

I currently serve as the Deputy Editor of Australian Journal of Management, Executive Editor of Review of Corporate Finance, Editor of Pacific Accounting Review, Guest Editor of Accounting & Finance (Sustainable Finance Special Issue), and Advisory Board Member of Journal of Industrial and Business Economics. I am serving as the Vice President (ECR) of Finance Research Network.
