All new patients begin with an Initial Home Assessment, allowing us to understand your needs and recommend the most appropriate Physiotherapy support.
Following your assessment, we can discuss whether 60-minute or 30-minute follow-up appointments would be most beneficial for you. The frequency would be dependent on your needs
Your first appointment is a comprehensive assessment designed to understand your current mobility, physical abilities and any difficulties you may be experiencing.
During the visit, we may assess your mobility, balance, lower limb strength, transfers, stair use (where appropriate), falls history and confidence with everyday activities. We'll also discuss your personal goals and consider any relevant factors within your home.
Following the assessment, we'll explain our findings, provide initial advice and agree on a personalised treatment plan to help you work towards your goals.
Our standard follow-up appointments allow plenty of time for personalised Physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Sessions may include strengthening exercises, balance training, mobility exercises and functional activities such as getting out of chairs or managing stairs.
We'll review your progress, adapt your exercises where needed and continue working towards improving your mobility, confidence and independence.
Our shorter appointments are ideal for those who require a more focused session or ongoing support with an established exercise programme.
These visits may include reviewing your progress, practising specific exercises, addressing particular mobility difficulties or making adjustments to your rehabilitation plan.
Short follow-ups may be particularly suitable for those who have already completed their initial assessment and require less intensive input.
At Chelmsford Falls & Mobility Physio, people come before business.
We believe Physiotherapy should be personal, compassionate and centred around what matters most to you. We take the time to listen, understand your individual needs and work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Whether your goal is to walk more confidently, reduce your risk of falling or simply feel more independent at home, your priorities will always guide your care.
We're not here to rush appointments or recommend treatment you don't need. We're here to provide honest advice, meaningful support and personalised Physiotherapy that makes a genuine difference to your everyday life.
