Cub Scout Ranks

Lions are scouts that are in Kindergarten.  Here is a flyer with more information

Lions have a Lion's Guide to oversee the program. Each parent in the group will be asked to run a monthly meeting. From the parents in the group, one will become the next year's leader.

As of July 2024, Bobcat rank is earned annually to work on character and leadership skills.

Webelos are scouts are in 4th grade. Here is information about Webelos.

Arrow of Light are Scouts in 5th grade. This is their last year of Cub Scouts.  In late winter, Arrow of Light Scouts will crossover and have a choice of which BSA Troop they would like to join. Here is more information about AOLs.

After late winter Crossover, Cub Scouts can join BSA (formerly Boy Scouts of America). There are several in the Chelmsford-area. During Arrow of Light, Scouts will have an opportunity to visit different BSA troops and Venturing crews. Groups are can be boy-only, co-ed, and girl-only.
