Cheese Jump is a platformer game developed by Sachi Iang and Ian Jackson, with contributions to other versions (currently unreleased) by Jack Clare.
Cheese Jump started as Basic Doodle Jump, an open-source Doodle Jump game made in JavaScript.
Ian found this game on Jackson's website and decided that he wanted to improve it. He found the GitHub page and downloaded Basic Doodle Jump. He changed and added some features with his limited coding knowledge such as:
1. The bottom platform turning red.
2. The space between platforms increasing slower.
3. The platforms changing color.
4. Changing all of the colors.
5. Making the border thicker.
6. Score.
7. Death.
In the next version, Less basic doodle jump, [1] Ian asked Seth for help with the game. Seth and Ian added these features:
1. Better death message.
2. Splitting the doodle into three different colored sections.
3. More levels.
In the next version, (Alpha) The game was officially named "Cheese Jump", Seth was set as the head coder, and Ian was set in charge of the website.

Currently, 6 versions of Cheese Jump are available to download from the game's official website. One other version (Beta 1.1.1 - 1.1.2) is also listed but not currently available to download. The available versions are as follows:

Additionally, a reversed contrast version of the game is available for two versions, called light theme. Alpha and Beta 1.1.5 are currently the only compatible versions compatible with light theme.
