Check My Child is a safeguarding app designed to help ensure children who cannot call for help themselves are not left without support if their parent or sole carer becomes unable to ask for help.
Create your Family Safety Plan, choose a trusted contact and complete your daily check-in.
If a check-in is missed, you'll receive reminder notifications. If you still don't respond after the 4-hour escalation period, your trusted contact will receive an SMS containing your emergency plan so they can check on you and your child.
No. Your trusted contact only needs a mobile phone capable of receiving SMS text messages.
Yes. Every account includes one free Test My Safety Plan so you can make sure your trusted contact receives the alert correctly before relying on the app.
The app will send reminder notifications first. If the check-in is still missed after the 4-hour escalation period, your trusted contact will receive an SMS alert.

Check My Child is a safeguarding app. It is not a medical monitoring device, emergency service or replacement for emergency medical care.
You can delete your account at any time within the app. If you need further assistance, please see our Delete My Accountpage or contact us by email.
