In the schematic, each leg of the race has a section called "Miles/Elev.Gain" and under that it is split up into "All CPs" and "No CPs". First off, "Elev. Gain" is short for Elevation Gain, which tells you how much climbing you will be doing on that leg. Note that this isn't elevation "change" where you go from a lower elevation to a higher elevation, but simply the sum of all of the uphills along the route. Also, the numbers represent the optimal route as determined by the race director. So your route choices may result in different outcomes. "All CPs" means that the numbers reflect getting all of the checkpoints (CPs) in that leg. "No CPs" simply means going from one TA to the next without getting any CPs along the way. Since every team will be going at different paces during different legs, we did not try to estimate the times each leg would take. Suffice it to say that you should dedicate two to three hours for each leg with the exception of the Prologue and Leg 5.
