Extraction was an annual student art show that was held by the Chatham Student Artist Collective. It was a one-day interdisciplinary experience showcasing student artwork, music, and other activities. The last Extraction was held in 2017.
We would like to do something with Extraction in Spring of 2024. Even if it is not THE Extraction, we believe that the very idea of it encapsulates the core values we have been trying to uphold at the SAC— the strength of artists in community— and we would love to bring back the tradition somehow.
