1. Scope
This policy covers Snagfolio Android version 0.1.0, an offline inspection-recording and reporting app. It also describes purchase-related processing by Google Play.
2. Inspection information
You may enter property addresses, client names, inspector/company names, room locations, defect notes, repair status, due dates, photo captions and repair history. Snagfolio stores these records and the photos you attach in the app's private storage on your device. Solo Dev Labs does not receive these inspection records through the app.
3. Photos and files
When you choose a photo, Snagfolio reads only the file selected through Android's file picker. Camera capture is handled by your device's camera app through Android. Snagfolio creates a resized JPEG copy for inspection use, removes source metadata through re-encoding, and retains the unmarked copy separately from any annotation. Source photos in other apps are not modified.
4. Exports and backups
PDF reports, CSV registers and ZIP backups are created on your device. You choose where to save them using Android's document picker. If you choose cloud storage or share a report using another app, that provider or recipient handles the exported information under its own policies. ZIP backups are not encrypted; protect them because they can contain addresses, names and photos. The app disables Android automatic app-data backup.
5. No remote tracking
This version does not include advertisements, analytics, remote crash reporting, account registration, cloud synchronization, AI services or an app network permission. Inspection processing is performed locally. Google Play, Android and your chosen camera, file-storage or sharing apps may process data independently.
6. Payments and preregistration
Google Play handles the paid app purchase and any preregistration. We do not receive your card number from the app. Google may provide the developer with order and transaction information for sales, refunds and support according to its own policies. Preregistration itself does not charge you. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions in this version.
7. Retention and deletion
Inspection data stays in app storage until you replace it by restoring a backup, clear Snagfolio's storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. Restoring a backup replaces the project register; unreferenced image files may remain in private storage until app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Camera staging files remain in app cache until Android clears them or app storage is cleared. Files you exported and original photos held by other apps remain outside Snagfolio and must be deleted separately. There is no server account to delete.
8. Support
If you email us, we receive the address and information you include and use it to respond. Do not send inspection photos or client information unless needed for your support request. Email is handled by the email providers involved and retained as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable obligations. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any retention obligations.
9. Security
Android app isolation limits other apps' access to private records. This version does not add its own database encryption or biometric lock. Use a secure device lock and protect exported reports and backups.
10. Intended audience
Snagfolio is designed for adult inspectors, property managers and builders, rather than children. It does not inspect a building for you or certify compliance.
11. Changes
We will update this policy when the app's data practices change. Features such as cloud sync or analytics would require a revised policy and relevant disclosures before introduction.
