Research

I am impressed by the ease and speed with which children learn new words and thus comprehend the world with all its diverse concepts. From the beginning, my nephew has been and continues to be my greatest inspiration and a genuine language talent who never fails to amaze me. Accordingly, my research revolves around the topics of language acquisition and psycholinguistics. Specifically, in my research group, the SPA Lab, affiliated with the Emmy Noether Program funded by the DFG, we investigate the semantic and pragmatic contributions to scalar implicature.
