Objectives: Gaining a better understanding of couples' experiences and the dyadic processes underlying their functioning, firstly by conducting a meta-synthesis focusing on various neurodegenerative diseases (study 1), and then two studies focusing on Parkinson's disease (studies 2 & 3). Capturing the changes in the couple's functioning at different stages of the disease was another aim (study 3).
