Charlie Char Charles

Charlie Char Charles... quite literally the face of the series itself. Either him or his brother of course, they're the more recognizable bunch from the cast.

Charlie is an autistic Gifted Cloudan, his ability is "Plasma," the power of manifesting an electrical plasmic charge within his very being. It can be used through projectiles or physical combat. It's also believed that it has special properties of giving the holder increased stamina through its own charge.

Charlie is recognized as a bundle of joy that brings absolute comfort to everyone around him, but also someone who's ahead of himself sometimes and pretty confrontational. That's because Charlie has a split personality, with his siblings naming both personalities as "Passive," the more tame state of Charlie, and "Aggressive," the more rowdy state of Charlie.

Charlie's passive state (expressed through blue eyes) typically has him being timid and reserved, with him being too shy and anxious to socialize with strangers. However, when he gets to familiarize the people around him in a friendship level, he can tend to display acts of kindness, care, joy, clinginess, and overall just comfort. Charlie in this state tends to be nonconfrontational, allowing him to have swift reflexes when in harms way just to dodge it. Arguing for him becomes overwhelming, leading him to be extremely apologetic to anyone he has upset. He's the more common state expressed daily, that is before his opposite state began to develop socially himself.

Charlie's aggressive state (expressed through red eyes), was initially seen as rowdy and violent. He would have the tendency to just get violent whenever provoked, unlike his passive contrast. He's displayed to be short-tempered, but also a complete opposite to his passive state such as the fact that he can speak more confidently towards anyone out of his mind. At the same time, Charlie will have no filter with what he says, being as blunt as possible. Although he's shown to be aggressive in his own right, he's developed to be more grounded and stable, becoming more tolerable when present. He's become more capable to have conversations with as he's grown to be more considerate and understanding of others. 

Charlie over time grew to mend qualities from both his states to either side when either state is active. This would lead to him learning to temporarily sync both his states (expressed through purple eyes). This state of Charlie hasn't been given a term like his separate states, however Nova, Charlie's Guardian Wisp, states that this Charlie is not his passive or aggressive states, but him in his entirety. This state of mind for Charlie has him significantly more grounded to what his other states are like, being able to fully express the qualities and traits his separate states are capable of.
