Our progressive curriculum focuses on teaching players how to:
Understand the difference between body contact and body checking
Develop proper body position, balance, and leverage
Learn safe and effective checking techniques using the shoulders, hips, and hands
Improve angling, timing, and puck separation
Build confidence in board battles and game-contact situations
Increase hockey IQ and situational awareness
Each day begins with classroom instruction and video analysis, where players will learn proper techniques, safety principles, and game application. Players will then transition to the ice to reinforce those concepts through progressive drills, contact development, battle situations, and game-like scenarios.
Physical play is a skill that must be taught. Our objective is to help players become more confident, controlled, and effective in contact situations while emphasizing proper technique, player safety, and smart decision-making.
