E-LEARNING & EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION AWARDS PARTICIPATION 2024
ECONDEV 2024 was an exciting this year. We had 2 projects which was initiated when I was then, the director of VORTEX. This competition really does encourage many educators to apply as much innovation into their e-content as possible to show how they have impacted the most important stakeholders of all; students and learners.
1st Project: Collaboration with the School of Medicine in the Creation of a Virtual Reality Game as an intervention for Vape Cessation.

We Won Bronze! Glad that the next level of data collection has been acknowledged and we hope to take VR customization for students further in future! Students of the School of Computer Science use FRAMEVR as their platform and used it so well that I forgot that they weren't Design Students! The part I played in this was to train the computer science students basically how to design in a virtual space. This platform provided the 'canvas' to play with and compose their presentations with added immersive interactions.
We Won Gold! The ENGAGEVR certification programme with Engage PLC bore fruit with its actual implementation in teh School of Education.
