Hi there! I'm a PhD student in Statistics and Data Science at the University of Nevada, Reno, and a proud member of the American Statistical Association (ASA). My interests include predictive modeling, biostatistics, and data-driven approaches to understanding complex real-world problems.
In my current work, I focus on leveraging statistical and computational tools to extract insights from data, ranging from healthcare and environmental applications to business analytics. Beyond research, I enjoy mentoring undergraduate students and supporting them in developing their skills in data analysis, research, and critical thinking (see my recent engagement Click here ).
Before joining UNR, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Statistics with First Class Honors from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Ghana, where I worked on a predictive model for stroke risk factors.
Fun fact: I once designed an employee attendance database in Microsoft Access just to replace the old manual system—because I firmly believe even routine processes deserve a little data magic!
