Biography:
Dr. Che's research and teaching interests lie in translingualism, cultural rhetorics, composition pedagogy, and Writing Across the Curriculum. She specializes in the acculturative experiences of multilingual students in U.S. higher education: specifically, how race, language, class, and religion intersect to shape one's sense of identity and culture.
Her work has been published in Writing on the Edge, Teaching English in the Two-Year College, and the Journal of Basic Writing. She currently serves as the Associate Chair of the Two-Year College Association. She is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Basic Writing and the Book Review Editor of Teaching English in the Two-Year College, and is on the Editorial Board of the Studies in Writing and Rhetoric book series.
