Assistant Professor
Chao - Ching, Chiang Ph.D
Dr. Chiang Chao-Ching obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from National Central University, Republic of China, in 2016. His doctoral research focused on inhibiting P-type porous silicon formation through photoelectrochemistry. In 2016, he proposed novel theories and conducted experimental verifications in electrochemistry. Dr. Chiang is deeply passionate about scientific research, exploring diverse issues and sharing varied perspectives. From 2018, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at National Central University, researching silicon quantum dot formation and wafer bonding processes. In 2019, he transitioned to Taiwan University of Science and Technology, actively participating in conferences and showcasing his achievements. By 2023, Dr. Chiang had published 16 SCI papers and 4 EI papers, covering biomedical microfluidic devices, semiconductor wafer bonding, and silicon quantum dot production. With industry development experience, he excels in high-pressure die-casting, AI unmanned AGV development, AOI optical inspection system development, and novel wafer cleaning machine development. During his postdoctoral research, Dr. Chiang dedicated himself to a Ministry of Science and Technology-supported project, "Nano-Silicon Photonic MEMS Biomedical Detection Device Research," contributing to both academia and industry. In 2021, he served as a guest editor for the international journal Coatings. In 2023, he was a guest editor for the Journal of Research Updates in Polymer Science and Micromachines. In February 2024, Dr. Chiang joined Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, continuing his commitment to scientific research and academia.
