MyPDE

MyPDE is our new Professional Development and Evaluation system (I'm sure we have all heard of it!).

This new resource replaces MyPLT and combines MyPLT + eLearnIT. This resource is still in the process of rolling out. Please be aware not all the pieces are fully in place and new information will be shared as it becomes available. Feel free to email Emily or set up an appointment if you have questions!

You now have a MyPDE icon on your desktop. If you don't see it, let Emily know.

Please know that Chrome is the preferred browser for MyPLT.

The Main Page - Top Toolbar

You have five buttons across your top toolbar. Take a look at the image below and a brief description of each.

1. SELF - Consider this your "profile" page. You can access all your key information from here.

2. LIBRARY - One of several search tools built into MyPDE.

3. HOME - Always useful when you've gotten lost exploring the system = AWESOME!

4. SEARCH - Quick access to search for training etc.

5. TIMELINE - See current and past due tasks (upcoming courses, performance evaluation tasks, etc.)

When you click into your timeline - you will see four tabs across the top - when you click on LEARN you will get an additional toolbar below those four tabs.

The Main Page - Tools Below Banner Image

This takes you to your Learner Dashboard. From here, you can search courses, see courses assigned to you, read system messages, access ongoing courses, and view a calendar of registered events.

This is the evaluation dashboard. From here you will access the documents needed for annual goal setting and evaluation cycle. It also includes a timeline of all major due dates and access to the documents you need!

You can access three types of transcripts from this page.

  • Teacher Licensure (ONLY shows credits eligible in the transcript window)

  • All PD activities

This page is a version of the PD Playlist from MyPLT. You can also click on "assigned training" to see what is specifically required for YOU, along with due dates. Note: Not all of it says REQUIRED!

The user guides provided by MyPDE are a great place to get started.
