Osburn police is received phone calls from citizens stating that someone is calling and identifying themselves as the social security administration and threatening legal action for fraudulent activity on your social security number. They then ask the victim to verify their information including asking for their social security number.
THIS IS A SCAM! Do not give your personal information over the phone. If you have given your information over the phone, please call Osburn Police Department at 208-753-9001 to file a report.
