2025.06 The official website of BIOCOCOMER (Horizon Europe Staff Exchanges project) is now open (Click Here). The team, comprised of seven universities, three research institutes, and one start-up company, will design and engineer innovative biomolecular coacervates using peptides, proteins, polysaccharides, polyphenols, and nucleic acids for gene delivery applications. MNL will actively collaborate with international groups in this consortium.
2025.01 Prof. Kim attended a kick-off meeting with the global team for starting the Horizon Europe Framework Programme (HORIZON)-Staff Exchanges project (Project Acronym: BIOCOCOMER). In this meeting, principal investigators from 11 research teams got a general introduction to this project and introduced research topics in their research groups for future collaborations and staff exchanges.

2024.06 Prof. Kim was awarded a research grant (Regional Specialization Development Project) funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT (지역 특성화 육성).
2024.05 The global research team consisting of 11 main research teams including MNL in 7 different countries (Italy, Australia, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Cuba, and South Korea) has been awarded Horizon Europe Framework Programme (HORIZON)-Staff Exchanges. Prof. Kim has participated in this research team as one of the main partners. From this research funding, MNL will have a chance to do multiple collaborations with international research groups through active staff exchanges.
2024.05 Prof. Kim was awarded a research grant (Regional Innovation Strategy (RIS)) through the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) funded by the Ministry of Education (MOE) (지자체-대학 협력기반 지역혁신 사업).
