Changing Seasons believes in the Hispanic/LatinX community obtaining the services they need for themselves, their children, and their families. We understand the needs of underserved families and the difficulties of experiencing a language barrier in the State of New Jersey. This language barrier is not the only obstacle limiting access to available community resources and appropriate education in mental health-related topics and developmental disabilities. We are here to provide the community with a trusting hand to advocate and educate through the process of obtaining assistance.
Dr. Ericka Santiago-Diaz is now providing in-home ADOS-2 evaluations for Autism, in collaboration with psychologist Dr. Brett Pellegrino, for consultation. These evaluations are most needed to acquire services for special needs children, and we are able to provide a quick turnaround.
Our Vision
Changing Seasons was created with nature in mind; the way trees and plants grow; how the seasons affect them throughout their life span. Our Agency aims to inspire, grow and nurture families as nature does its soil, plants and trees. Just as trees get frostbite and lose leaves during winters and struggle with breakage and dried stems during periods of drought, we humans change with OUR SEASONS. Sometimes these changes can bestow personal hardships and create obstacles that present challenges to our growth, but ultimately it is our experiences in life that make us who we are and determine how we go about navigating the world. It is through the CHANGING of our SEASONS that we develop core memories, actions, reactions, and strengths. Our aggregate experiences and the manner in which we process difficult moments, provide us with the resiliency to move forward and to help others along on their journeys. Much like in nature, we also need seeds, water, sunlight, and support to overcome obstacles and grow new leaves EVERY SPRING. There will always be ups and downs in our lives, we just need to learn how to sway with the wind....like Sunflowers.
