The Villa occupied the building which was formerly the Milo Theater.
In 1964 the theater was informed that they were eligible for a relocation payment for moving expenses for their business.
A letter dated September 18, 1968 contained a report of an August 7th meeting between the theater owners and the Office of Urban Renewal. The theater disclosed that despite having 3 1/2 years of notice, they had not formulated a plan to acquire a new site. They desired an extension which the Director of Urban Renewal concluded "would not measurable contribute to the solution of such a complex problem" and they were instructed to vacate by 30 September 1968.
Further pleas to extend the lease were granted and and the cinema vacated the premises February 16, 1969.
