We had a visit from a local politician in Ørestad named Gorm Anker Gunnarsen. He told us about his view on what he thinks we should do to have a sustainable energy supply in Ørestad and Copenhagen. He believes that geothermal energy is the future but that there is still a lot of complications and a long way before we can use geothermal energy. He said that one of the biggest complications about geothermal energy is that they need an investment from the private sector to make it happen but with geothermal energy it takes many years before the investment pays of and that makes geothermal energy supply an unattractive investment for the private sector.
