Chandra Sekar Ramaiah has graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (Honours) degree in Civil engineering from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli and is currently a PhD student at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. 

As a passionate engineer he has vision to promote sustainability and reduce the carbon footprint in terms of the construction materials. His research interests lie in the broad domains of concrete technology, sustainability and durabilty of construction materials and alternate construction materials.
