The National Livestock Development Board was established in 1973 under the State Agricultural Corporation. Our client is a medium scale farm in Andigama which currently holds around 300 animals with 1100 acres plus farm Lands. Currently their systems are mainly maintained by workers manually maintaining the data .Our system hopes to streamline the data processing and maintenance by introducing a new Information systems for tracking and maintaining assets.
The system has 3 main actors named Manager, Assistant Manager and Supervisor. Supervisor is the person who directly interact with the cattle and who feeds data into the system. Other two actors will have higher privileges and they can view the statistics generated by the system, which in turn will help them to take decisions based on those information.
Web Application will allow the users to interact with the system. It will be hosted in the Google Cloud.
The tracking device is intended to be worn by the cattle which has the GPS module and NodeMCU which will connect with the MQTT Server running on the Raspberry PI. It will connect with the cloud server and provide insights about the location and the behaviour of cattle. All these data will be processed by the system and will produce reports based on those information.
