As a Software Engineering Intern, I've worked on developing features for the flagship product of Sysco LABS while enhancing my skills of coding, problem solving and following agile practices. Also I have been exposed to very high standards of software development and best practices while working with latest programming languages and tools.

What I learnt during my Internship

• I was able to get a good understanding about how these components work with each other and how they exchange information and provide services via APIs.
• I learned about the Industry Best Practices and Standards which are used throughout the Lifecycle of Software Development.
• I discovered new approaches of problem solving and learned new coding practices.
• Gained a good understanding about how to choose the best tech stack for a given requirement, do's and don'ts, when to use what etc.
• Worked comprehensively with Jira Project Management Platform and VCS like Bitbucket.

One of the greatest achievements

I was able to conduct an Innovation Session which happens once a week at Sysco LABS. I presented an interesting topic infront of the corporate audience comprised of the members of the Leadership team.

I participated in almost all the events that were organised by the company, met new friends and had a really good time. The Internship is a key to me in acquiring skills and experiencea which are vital to strive through my professional career.
