This page explains the basic mechanics and the principles behind how to succeed. TR-specific guides can be found elsewhere.
A troupe is a group of up to 10 players. You may only be a member of one troupe at a time. This provides a My Theatre-like room where members of a troupe can congregate, as well as a chat room.
However, the main purpose of a troupe is to participate in the Troupe Revue. Troupe Revues are not permanent fixtures , and instead run like events, as joining, leaving, or dissolving a troupe is impossible during the runtime of a Troupe Revue. Just like events, there will be a specific banner arcana stage girl released that provides a 100% damage boost. All other arcanas provide a 10% damage boost.
Because of the turn overflow mechanic and the limited turns available, successful teams typically consist of less than five stage girls to avoid hand clogging, focus on stage girls with offensive (ACT, DEX, CRIT) buffs on normal acts attached to an attack, focusing on immense burst damage. If a player has obtained the damage boost arcana for that troupe revue, there will be one attempt with which they can use two of that arcana (including a support), giving them a 200% damage boost. This is extremely potent and must be used wisely for best results. Having at least one lvl1-us21 arcana in the troupe can be very useful.
The troupe revue consists of four bosses that are challenged and defeated sequentially. Defeating all four can be considered one clear, and this can be repeated an infinite number of times.
There are three difficulty levels, which alter the bosses' moveset and HP.
Difficulty One: Clears 1-4
Difficulty Two: Clears 5-9
Difficulty Three: Clears 10 and above
Each member of a troupe has three attempts of six turns each daily to take on a boss. Just like Challenge Revue, all girls, memoirs, and revue songs used in an attempt cannot be used again. If you defeat the boss in less than six turns, the remaining turns can be carried over.
An attempt will not be considered to be used until all six turns of it have been used up, or if it has been used against two bosses. Essentially, turns may only carry over once. Stage girls will not be rendered unusable until a full attempt is completed. If you use multiple teams during a single attempt, all will be made unusable when the attempt is used up,
Note that the troupe faces the bosses together, meaning that multiple people can attack a boss in turn. If a boss is defeated by another member while you are doing battle with it, the attempt will be considered invalid - no turns or stage girls are consumed.
In addition, each member of a troupe can designate one of their stage girls to be a support stage girl. This support stage girl can be used by other members of the troupe in their attempts. Each support offered can be used by everyone once a day, hence at least three guild members should have an ideal support unit so all guild members can have the ideal support for all three attempts.
There is a rehearsal function that allows you to take on the boss safely an unlimited amount of times to figure out the best strategy. Making use of this and coordinating with fellow members on how to most efficiently clear the bosses is important.
Troupes are ranked based on the total damage they have done to all bosses. Note that unlike Starry Diamond, overkill damage is not counted.
There are rewards given for defeating each boss, based on what the boss' current difficulty level was, consisting of varying amounts of Creation Jewels, Rainbow Piece Boxes, and most importantly - Troupe Revue Medals. Further rewards are given at the conclusion of the Troupe Revue based on the guild's damage ranking, consisting of Gems, Awakening Medals, Kirafes and Season Tickets, and a large amount of Troupe Revue Medals.
These Troupe Revue Medals are required to attain the absurdly powerful Arcana stage girl, 4🟊 Tower Kagura Hikari and The Hanged Man Akikaze Rui.
