Organic gelators

My research started with developing new organogelators and hydrogelators from parent bile acids by modifying the side-chain using key synthetic steps. These gelators show stimuli-responsivity (acid-base, pH, etc.). Furthermore, a series of metal ions were found to gelate aqueous solution of sodium cholate with interesting properties.
