CdSe-CdS Nanorods showing liquid crystalline smectic textures

Yes, Nanorods do align along the direction of nanofibers

2D-superlattices of CsPbBr3 nanocubes forming over the TEM grid

Nanofibers acting as matrix to separate individual nanocubes and arrange on the surface

yes, they are separated by hundreds of nanometers

CdSe QDs ~5.5 nm

CdSe quantum dots are synthesized at very high tempertatures above 300 degree C and for this need a highly thermally stable precursor cadmium deoxycholate

High quality CdSe nanocrystals can also be synthesized using an alternative micro/millifluidics approach using coiled tubing with micron size diameter and automated high pressure syringe pumps at high temperatures and pressure, obviously with the same cadmium deoxycholate as Cd-precursor
