Hello, and thank you for visiting my webpage! I am Chaitanya J. Kulkarni, an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Maharashtra Institute of Technology Art, Design, and Technology (MIT ADT) University, Pune, Maharashtra. I completed my Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics at IISER Bhopal under the guidance of Dr. Angshuman Bhattacharya. Broadly, I work in the field of functional analysis, with a particular focus on completely positive maps, commonly known as quantum channels. They play a fundamental role in quantum information theory. My research explores the mathematical structure and properties of these maps, with an emphasis on their decomposition and studying operator algebraic aspects. In my current research, I am interested in exploring connections between the mathematical aspects of completely positive maps and quantum information theory.
