OKX Web3 Wallet is a non-custodial, decentralized multi-chain wallet serving global users with unified asset management, secure storage, and transfer capabilities. The wallet supports multiple seed phrase imports and derived addresses.
Currently, OKX Web3 Wallet supports 80+ chains including Bitcoin, Ethereum, OKC, Solana, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche, Tron, and Arbitrum. Users can experience OKX Web3 Wallet functionality by downloading the OKX app, visiting the OKX official website on PC, or using browser extensions.
OKX Wallet is built into the OKX exchange—there's no standalone wallet app. If you already have it installed, you can use it directly. If you haven't used OKX exchange before, simply search for "OKX" in Google Play Store or App Store to download.
Open the OKX app. During registration, you'll need to bind both a phone number (select the corresponding country code for phone registration) and email address. Follow the prompts to complete registration.
Creating a New Wallet:
Open the OKX app and log in. Switch to Web3 Wallet at the top of the homepage, then tap Create Wallet. In the verification method popup, confirm by setting a wallet password or using biometric authentication to successfully create your wallet.
If you already have a wallet, select Import Existing Wallet and use your seed phrase or private key to restore it.
Backing Up Your Seed Phrase:
After creating your wallet, you need to back up your seed phrase. OKX Wallet offers two backup methods: iCloud backup and manual backup. We recommend manually writing down and storing your seed phrase.
Your seed phrase (also called recovery phrase or seed phrase) is a word list containing all the information needed to recover your cryptocurrency wallet. The seed phrase is extremely important—whoever possesses it effectively owns the wallet. Store it securely. Seed phrases typically consist of 12 English words.
Next, verify your seed phrase. Follow the on-screen process to verify the correct seed phrase, and you'll successfully create an OKX Web3 Wallet.
Open the wallet, tap ▼ > Wallet Management > Backup Wallet.
Currently supports backing up seed phrases or private keys. For seed phrase backup, OKX Web3 Wallet uses one set of seed phrases corresponding to one wallet (including derived wallets generated from that wallet), meaning possession of that seed phrase allows management of crypto assets across 70+ public chains. For private key backup, note that different public chains may correspond to different private keys.
Tap ▼ > + Add Account to complete new account creation.
For example, accounts under Wallet A share one set of seed phrases and are typically called derived wallets. Wallets and accounts also support renaming—tap ▼ > Wallet Management > Edit Wallet. Note that currently you cannot remove created accounts. If removal is needed, you must remove the entire wallet from the device, then re-import using the seed phrase. Wallets imported via private key don't support adding accounts.
OKX Web3 Wallet is a non-custodial, decentralized multi-chain wallet. The core concept of decentralized wallets is that users completely control their own funds and private keys, meaning the platform has no ability to store passwords or private keys and therefore cannot provide password recovery functionality. Web3 Wallet doesn't store your wallet password and cannot help you recover it. Users can reset their wallet password by re-importing their wallet seed phrase or private key.
Operation path: Open Web3 Wallet, tap Account > Wallet Management; tap Import Wallet > Seed Phrase or Private Key, complete the operation as required to import the wallet.
OKX Wallet offers three deposit methods:
Method 1: Copy Wallet Address for Direct Transfer
Tap the copy address icon, select the wallet address corresponding to your desired network, and transfer to that address to deposit.
Method 2: Scan QR Code to Deposit
Tap "Receive," search for the token you want to deposit, select the corresponding network, enter the details page to get the receiving address (copy the receiving address or QR code). Open another exchange or wallet, input the copied receiving address or directly scan the QR code to deposit.
Method 3: Quick Deposit from OKX Exchange Account
Additionally, you can directly deposit from your OKX exchange account to OKX Wallet via quick transfer. However, this quick deposit also incurs fees, which vary by token and chain.
From the homepage, tap "Receive," then tap "Quick withdrawal from exchange account" to start.
Select the wallet and account you want to transfer from, such as Wallet D-Account 01. Using USDT as an example, tap Send, input the receiving address and amount, with network fees defaulting to average. Tap Next and confirm.
On the wallet homepage, scroll down to the bottom of the page, find and tap Token Management. You can search, add, or remove tokens. Enter the token name or contract address in the search box to add tokens. Alternatively, tap ➕ to the right of tokens on the page to add, or tap ➖ to remove.
Additionally, OKX Web3 Wallet supports adding custom tokens. Open Token Management, tap "Custom Token," select the corresponding network, choose the protocol, fill in the token identifier to complete addition.
OKX DEX is a one-stop, multi-chain, cross-chain aggregated trading platform. Through X Routing, OKX DEX automatically calculates optimal trading paths by comparing prices across different liquidity pools and splitting orders to provide users with lower slippage, fewer network fees, and optimal trading prices in multi-chain and cross-chain scenarios.
Currently, OKX DEX supports trading on 10+ chains, aggregates 100+ mainstream DEXs and 100,000+ tokens, and supports mainstream cross-chain bridges like cBridge, MultiChain, and SWFT. This truly enables trading any asset on any chain with one OKX DEX.
In the OKX app, switch to Web3 Wallet to view tokens: OKX DEX has launched a token price feature helping you monitor popular tokens anytime, anywhere. Tap Trading > Market to follow trading prices, price changes, and trading volumes for different types of tokens like trending coins, Layer 2, and DeFi. Tap any token to trade.
Input payment and receiving tokens, such as ETH and USDC. Tap > at the bottom to expand and see the ETH/USDC price trend. Tapping token information like ETH takes you to that token's details page, helping you understand real-time prices, trading, liquidity pools, and token overview.
Swap & Cross-Chain
Tap Trading to enter the Swap & Cross-Chain page. OKX DEX currently supports single-chain swaps on 16 chains and cross-chain swaps on 9 chains.
Swap: Refers to token conversion on the same public chain, where payment and receiving tokens are on the same network, such as swapping ETH and USDT on Ethereum. Input the amount you want to swap, tap Swap, confirm in your wallet, and wait for the transaction to be recorded on-chain.
Cross-Chain Swap: Refers to asset conversion between different public chains, where payment and receiving tokens are on different networks, such as swapping ETH on Ethereum for USDC on zkSync Era. Input the amount you want to swap, tap Cross-Chain Swap, confirm in your wallet, and wait for the transaction to be recorded on-chain.
Additionally, OKX DEX has launched a Gas swap feature that can quickly convert mainstream assets like USDT, USDC, DAI, and WETH into gas fees, helping you solve the problem of having no gas fees or insufficient gas fees during actual trading.
For example, if you have USDT on OKTC but no OKT, and want to swap USDT on OKTC chain for OKT on OKTC, select USDT_OKTC and OKT_OKTC in the payment and receiving fields respectively. Tap Swap > Top up OKT > Swap Gas, verify payment token and select payment amount, then tap Top up OKT. Enter your password to complete the gas swap.

Open OKX Web3 Wallet and log in, tap the DeFi button at the bottom bar to directly enter the DeFi product page. The top section automatically recommends popular projects to users, automatically displaying APY and other details.
DeFi products are currently divided into seven modules: Stablecoins, Popular Tokens, Protocols, Reward Pools, V3 Pools, Liquid Staking Tokens, and Points. Tap to enter the corresponding module.
Users can select investments of interest and view their product information detail pages, including historical returns. Even without the corresponding underlying asset, you can use the DeFi product's one-tap swap function to convert tokens in your wallet into required assets and invest, completing a one-tap investment operation.
After investing, you can view corresponding investment performance in your positions and manage your investments. Additionally, if you hold BRC-20 assets, you can also participate in BRC-20 asset staking to earn staking rewards.
